Our Laundry Powder is a revolutionary approach to laundry care. It does not cover up stains and odors with scents and brighteners – it really cleans. It is made with a unique blend of biodegradable coconut-based detergents and high-grade, completely soluble, Green River washing soda.
Directions: (For First Time Users) Run an empty load (or perhaps some old rags) with the recommended amount of Charlie’s Soap Laundry Liquid or Powder. This will clear your washing machine of any residue left by previously used detergents and keep them from redepositing on your clothes.
I typically prefer scented, liquid laundry detergent and Charlie’s Soap laundry detergent is neither, but it does get laundry clean – which is the main objective. Charlie’s Soap powdered laundry detergent is great on tougher to clean clothing and at removing a less than pleasing scent from laundry items. Since Charlie’s Soap powedered laundry detergent is hypoallergenic, it works well as a baby detergent – and baby laundry is certainly something we have a lot of around here these days!
